i really liked writing Scout with the little kid, i love writing her when she's smiling and warm.
UPDATE: totally doing page commentary which is probably obvious now.
would you guys be interested in page commentary?
i've seen some webcomics creators write descriptions or thoughts or author comments about each page that goes up, whether behind-the-scenes stuff or their own thoughts about what went into the story or characters, that kind of thing. i don't usually like that because it can come off self-aggrandizing, or it can narrow the range of interpretation for readers by not letting the work stand by itself, change someone's perception of the work than they'd otherwise have, or simply distract from the comic.
but at the same time i've seen creators who offer insight to the work, or interesting stories behind what they put into the comic, and create more of an accessible, personable entry point. i'm not sure if i have much to say about the comic, or much that i'd want to say, rather, but i thought maybe it could be cool. i don't know if i did do commentary, if i should i go back and write something for the pages i've already posted or if i should just start with the next upload.
any thoughts?!??!?
